Forest Hills EPC is a loving and caring congregation of believers rooted in the reformed tradition and grounded in the Word of God. All are welcome to join us, regardless of your walk of life or experiences.
Our story
At Forest Hills Presbyterian Church EPC, we believe in living out the Word of God daily. We are a community that embraces everyone, offering a place where you can hear God's truth taught and lived. Our worship blends contemporary praise with traditional hymns, creating an enriching experience for all.
We offer 2 small group opportunities for growth. A Monday evening fellowship meets in a local home each week. They study different Christian authors as well as books of the Bible. Another Bible study group meets on Tuesday mornings in the education wing of the church and studies books of the Bible and other christian books.
Our mission
Our congregation was formed in 1988 joining the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. A group of Bible believing christians left the PCUSA and joined the EPC to advance the Gospel message from the teaching of the Word of God.
Our mission is to glorify God by being a loving and caring community, proclaiming the Gospel, and making disciples of Jesus Christ. We are committed to nurturing faith, encouraging service, and spreading God's love throughout Wilson, North Carolina, and beyond.
WEEKLY SERVICES
Worship services and Opportunities for growth
10:30 AM Worship and Camp Sunday
Join us for our main worship service featuring blended contemporary and traditional format.
Classes for children during worship to teach and learn from the Word of God.
Monday evening Bible study 6:30 PM
A Monday gathering for spiritual refreshment and fellowship. This is in a local member's home.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Each Tuesday at 10:30AM, a group meets in the education wing to study God's Word.
Ministries
Women's Ministry
Fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities for women. The last Friday of the month, there is a women's prayer group in the church library.
Men's Ministry
Men's quarterly breakfast at the church fellowship hall, building brotherhood and spiritual leadership among men.
Community Outreach Programs
FHPC is active with the Choices Women's Center in Wilson. We actively support their programs and outreach.
FHPC hosts a Veteran's Coffee on the second Friday of every month from 9:45-10:45AM.
FHPC also supports the Wilson Veteran's Community outreach.
We financially support new congregations in our Presbytery.

Biblical authority
We believe that the Word of God is authoritative for our daily living. We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and our ultimate authority.
Core message
Our message and mission revolve around the good news of Jesus Christ and His love for all of us. We hold to the Biblical standards of holy living and love. Our message is the message of a Loving Heavenly Father who calls us to live as He has shown us, and not as society would direct us.
